Cement
Types of cement
Type I Portland cement or ordinary Portland cement: This cement is known as the most widely used cement. It is used in building and prefabricated concrete, especially concrete that is not in contact with soil or underground water. It is also recommended in general construction (most buildings, bridges, sidewalks, prefabricated units, etc.). Ordinary cement is used for general purposes that do not require special characteristics of concrete.

Portland cement type two:
This type of cement is produced to resist sulfate attack. Sulfate attack is an important phenomenon that can cause severe and serious damage to concrete structures. Its use is recommended when the structure is exposed to soil or water containing sulfate ions, or when concrete is exposed to soil with medium sulfate levels. This type of cement releases less heat during the hydration process when mixed with water. Its value and price is almost the same as ordinary Portland cement.
